England manager Roy Hodgson will reveal his squad for the FIFA World Cup May 12, a day after the Premier League season ends, the Football Association announced Wednesday.
Hodgson is expected to announce a 23-man squad and also name seven players as substitutes, in case of injury. The final list must be submitted to FIFA June 2, reports Xinhua.
England have been drawn to face Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica in Group D and will open their campaign with a match against Italy June 14.
