Spanish football giants Real Madrid's captain Sergio Ramos has warned eternal rivals Barcelona that their sensational recent form in La Liga and the European Champions League could end abruptly at any point.
Barcelona, who have smashed home 11 goals in their last three La Liga games, sit four points clear of Atletico Madrid at the top of the table, while Real Madrid sit a further two points behind.
Madrid were on the receiving end of a four-goal thumping in the recent El Clasico mauling but after winning 22 games in a row last season, Ramos knows how quickly fortunes can change.
"Football changes in a matter of hours and last season we ended the year really well and Barcelona were worse than us, but at the end of the season they won the treble," Ramos was quoted as saying by dailymail.co.uk on Monday.
Last season, Barcelona captured the Champions League, La Liga and King's Cup that formed the treble.
"Now Barcelona are in good form, so let them enjoy it, because you never no how long it'll last. You have to be prepared for both the praise and the criticism because, like I said, football is always changing," the 29-year-old defender said.
