Italian luxury brand Ermenegildo Zegna is all set to expand themselves in the African market with their store in Lagos, Nigeria. They currently retails from Egypt and Morocco.
The brand opened its new flagship store in Victoria Island, Lagos, a central meeting point between the most important commercial and financial areas of the city.
Talking about their future plans, Gildo Zegna, chief executive officer of Ermenegildo Zegna, says that the brand is targetting many other cities.
"In 2013, we will continue to invest in Europe, the US, Mexico, China, Australia and Singapore and new markets, such as Nigeria and Vietnam, to expand our retail network. We will also have the contribution of Stefano Pilati, who has been appointed creative director of Agnona, from the summer 2014 collection, and head of style for Zegna Couture and the EZ shows," Gildo Zegna said in a statement.
The boutique uses a variety of colours, materials, textures and furniture to accentuate the collections.
Founded in 1910, Ermenegildo Zegna specialized in men's clothing. As well as producing suits for its own labels, it manufactures suits for labels such as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent and Tom Ford.
