Private equity firm Everstone Monday announced that it has signed an agreement with Hinduja Leyland Finance to invest Rs.200 crore.
In a statement issued here, Everstone, a private equity investor in India and southeast Asia, said it will invest Rs.200 crore in the Hinduja Group's non-banking finance company Hinduja Leyland Finance for an undisclosed stake.
The city-based non-banking finance company is owned by Ashok Leyland and other Hinduja Group entities and finances commercial vehicle purchases.
The company's total asset under management is over Rs.4,000 crore.
Ernst & Young and Spark Capital were the advisors to the transaction.
