Swiss tennis player Roger Federer advanced to the men's singles third round of Roland Garros after beating Spain's Marcel Granollers 6-2, 7-6(1), 6-3.
After qualifying for the third round of the French Open, the second Grand Slam tournament of the season, Federer, ranked third in the world, said that the match was harder than it looked, reports Efe.
Federer will be playing the third round against Bosnia's Damir Dzumhur, who defeated the Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis 6-4, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.
