Roger Federer on Thursday sent Switzerland into the Hopman Cup final for the second consecutive year after prevailing over Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas 7-6(5), 7-6(4).
The Swiss tennis great took 93 minutes to stop Greece progressing to the final round and end its bid for the title, reports Efe news.
"For me, it is about maintaining a good level of play. I am happy where my game is at. And I was impressed with what I saw from Stefan," Federer said, according to the tournament's official website.
Earlier, Switzerland defeated Britain (3-0) and the US (2-1).
Switzerland is set to square off against either Germany or Australia in Saturday's final.
