A ferry carrying more than 300 passengers ran aground on Sunday in the French port of Calais but no one was injured, reports said.
"The ship is stable. The captaincy is seeing how to return to normal," said the provincial government of the French department of Pas-de-Calais, adding that the sea shipping has been interrupted, reported Xinhua news agency.
The provincial government has issued an orange vigilance on high winds via its Twitter account Sunday afternoon.
