A three-year old child in the capital city of Pakistan was on Saturday booked for land grabbing of a plaza and for stealing property from inside the plaza, the media reported here.
The infant's family approached the court to secure bail before the arrest of the toddler. Upon looking at the matter the bench expressed its displeasure over the Islamabad police's blunder, Geo News reported.
The court demanded to know from the child's legal counsel if securing bail was even warranted; the counsel informed the court that since the child was named in the FIR bail before arrest was being sought.
The court has summoned the Station House Officer and the investigation officer on January 7 next year to explain their position.
