A massive fire broke out in a plastic scrap market here and 40 fire tenders were rushed to douse the blaze, police said on Friday.
Fire was reported from some mounds of plastic in the market in Mundka in west Delhi at about 1 a.m. on Friday, a fire officer said.
The fire broke out in heaps of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) waste spread on three acres land, the officer said.
No casualty was reported.
The cause of fire is yet to be established, the official said.
