Former Dutch international footballer Martin Koeman died at the age of 75, reported Xinhua.
The father of former Dutch internationals Ronald and Erwin Koeman suffered a cardiac arrest Sunday. After three days in a coma he died in a hospital in Leeuwarden Wednesday evening.
Koeman has been active for FC Groningen for 50 years. He played over 500 matches and also held the position of coach, technical manager, founder of the youth academy and scout.
Martin Koeman played just one international match for the Netherlands, a friendly against Austria April 12, 1964 (1-1). Not as much as his sons Ronald (78 internationals) and Erwin (31), who became European champions with the Netherlands in 1988.
