Ace Frehley, former guitarist of legendary US rock band Kiss, has been hospitalized for exhaustion and dehydration, according to a post on his official Facebook page.
"Ace Frehley was admitted to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital following his show last night at the F.M. Kirby Centre in Wilkes-Barre," read a post on Frehley's Facebook page, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The post further announced that despite his illness, Frehley has been given a "clean bill of health" by doctors.
"After extensive testing, it was determined that Ace's symptoms were due to exhaustion and dehydration. In consultation with his doctors, Ace, who aside from the exhaustion and dehydration has been given a clean bill of health, has reluctantly agreed to cancel tonight's sold out show at the Chance in Poughkeepsie, New York," the post said.
On Friday, the band was forced to perform as a trio at a benefit show here as another member, Paul Stanley, recuperated from a surgery for his torn bicep tendon.
