At least four Afghan National Army (ANA) personnel were killed and four injured Monday in a bomb attack in the outskirts Kabul, the defence ministry said.
"The army personnel were on their routine patrol in an armoured vehicle when the incident occurred at 7.45 a.m.," Xinhua quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
The Taliban insurgent group has been using the home-made improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to launch roadside bombings and the IEDs have become a major threat to the Afghan forces.
