Fox News has hired Sebastian Gorka, a former aide to President Donald Trump who left the administration earlier this year.
The move was announced by Fox News host Sean Hannity on his daily radio programme during an interview with Gorka, the representatives told Politico news on Wednesday.
"Welcome to the Fox family," Hannity told Gorka.
"You're a true patriot hero and an amazing, amazing political analyst and strategic analyst. Thank you for being with us and we're so happy for your success."
Gorka thanked Hannity for supporting his move to the network.
"You've been a great supporter, not only of myself, but of the administration and the president, and it's great to be back as part of the superb Fox family," the former White House deputy assistant said.
Gorka, who was closely aligned with former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, left his post in the West Wing in August after Bannon was ousted, Politico news reported.

While Gorka claimed he resigned from role, the account was disputed by several White House officials.
He announced shortly afterward that he was reuniting with Bannon at Breitbart News.
