The Haryana government on Thursday said it is fully prepared to implement the Goods and Services (GST) bill, which was passed by the Rajya Sabha a day earlier.
Haryana Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu told the media here that the state Excise and Taxation Department was preparing a road-map for its implementation.
"The officers and officials concerned have already been imparted training on how to implement it effectively," he said.
Abhimanyu said the states would not incur revenue loss after the GST implementation.
"However, in case of losses, if any, the central government would offer compensation up to five years after its implementation," he said.
