German President Joachim Gauck will pay a state visit to India Feb 4-9 during which he will focus on the vast spectrum of relations with India, Germany's strategic partner.
Accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, comprising representatives of the German cabinet and parliament and business, among others, the German president will hold political talks as well as meetings with representatives of civil society and visit companies, said a German embassy statement.
He will also visit a Kendriya Vidyalaya school and a development cooperation project during his visit to New Delhi and Bangalore, the statement said.
He will travel to Myanmar from Feb 9-12.
