Germany tightened controls along its borders with France after a terror attack killed at least 84 people in the French city of Nice, police said on Friday.
The German Federal Police said in a statement that border checks were increased at airports, as well as land and railway crossings with France, Xinhua news agency reported.
The additional measures were taken "in coordination with the French security authorities", police said.
A terrorist on Thursday night drove his truck through a crowd of thousands enjoying Bastille Day celebration mowing down at least 84 people.
Besides, at least 50 people were in critical condition, the French authorities said.
