Spanish football club Atletico Madrid's Uruguayan defender Diego Godin returned on Thursday to the team's training after recovering from a sprained knee.
Godin sustained his latest injury during the 1-2 loss against FC Barcelona in a La Liga match, reports Efe.
The Uruguayan was not eligible to play against Eibar last Saturday in another La Liga clash as he was suspended after receiving two yellow cards.
Stefan Savic also joined the workouts under the command of Argentine coach Diego Simeone, as the Montenegrin defender recovered from exhaustion following the Eibar clash.
Thomas Partey, Augusto Fernandez and Tiago Mendes missed Thursday's training due to injury.
Atletico will be hosted next Sunday by Getafe in La Liga. Atletico are in second place with 51 points, and three points behind leaders FC Barcelona.
