India's Arjun Atwal will be among Asia's best golfers who will lend their star power to the $750,000 Indonesian Masters when it tees off next week.

No less than 25 Asian Tour champions, who include heavyweights such as Thailand's Thaworn Wiratchant, the Philippines' Angelo Que and Atwal, will grace the fairways of the Royale Jakarta Golf Club from April 23 to 26.

They are expected to make Indonesia's premier golf tournament a hotly contested affair as it will also feature the likes of former World No.1 Lee Westwood of England, Asia's first Major winner Y.E. Yang of South Korea, and Denmark's Thomas Bjorn in its star-studded line-up.

Atwal revived his career with his eighth Asian Tour victory in Dubai last year following a four-year winless streak and looks poised to weave his magic again.

Based in the United States now, the former Asian Tour No.1 is the first Indian to win on the PGA Tour in 2010 and will be looking forward to another triumphant return to the region which has brought him much success.

"I always like coming back to the Asian Tour and like I have always said, it's the friendliest tour in the world and I love it," said the former Asian No.1.

Sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the PGA Tour of Indonesia, the Indonesian Masters will feature 24 Indonesian golfers, 20 professionals from the PGA Tour of Indonesia and four of Indonesia's top amateurs who will compete in the 150 player field over 72 holes of individual stroke play.
