A double-bogey on the 18th hole marred a day of improvement for India's Anirban Lahiri as he carded two-over 74 to be 70th after the third round of the World Golf Championships (WGC)-Cadillac Championship here on Saturday.
Lahiri, current Asian Tour No.1, had four birdies on the first, 12th, 15th and 17th holes at the Trump National Doral golf course. But bogeys on the third, eighth, ninth and a double-bogey on the par-four 18th didn't help his cause.
He now totals 14-over 230. He underwent a tough opening day as he managed 80. He improved his performance in the second round on Friday with 76 to be joint 71st.
Overnight leader J.B. Holmes shot two-under 70 and took a five-stroke lead with one round to go. He was boosted by an ace (hole-in-one) at the par-three fourth hole.
Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson -- who also had a hole-in-one on the same hole -- are tied for second. Ryan Moore is one shot behind of the American duo.
