AAP leader Dilip Pandey on Friday alleged that some people are targeting the Delhi government despite its hard work in the treatment of dengue and chikungunya patients and sparing the civic bodies responsible for taking preventive measures.

"Some people have made an agenda that the people (Delhi civic bodies) who are responsible for the good health of people will not be questioned. The questions will be asked to those (AAP government) who are working hard for keeping Delhi people healthy," Pandey said at a press conference at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headquarters here.

Pandey clarified that he was talking about Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled-civic bodies which are responsible for the outbreak as it failed to prevent the spread of dengue and chikungunya.

"Instead of questioning civic bodies for the spread of chikungunya, Delhi's health minister, who is working day-and-night to tackle the situation, is being questioned," he said.

Delhi has so far witnessed the death of 32 patients who were suffering from vector-borne diseases chikungunya and dengue.
