A gunman believed to be suffering from psychiatric problems on Friday shot dead an elderly woman and a cyclist in Germany before he was caught, the media reported.
The killings of the 82-year-old woman and the 72-year-old cyclist took place in Ansbach, a town 40 km southwest of Nuremberg.
The man opened fire while driving into nearby Rammersdorf, Bayerischer Rundfunk radio reported citing police. He then shot at a farmer as well as a motorist but both were uninjured, police said.
The man had consulted a psychiatrist in the past, police said.
