The Haryana Police on Friday said they have busted an interstate gang of robbers who were involved in criminal activities in various states.
A Haryana Police spokesman said here that six members of the gang were arrested from Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh.
The gang was involved in criminal activities, including murder and robbery, in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
"All accused belong to criminal tribes of district Guna (Madhya Pradesh) and have been arrested from Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh. They belong to the Pardi gang," the spokesman said.
The arrested have been identified as Malkhan, Gagan, Kuldeep alias Lakhan, Gajender, Ajmal and Banty.
"During interrogation, all accused confessed their involvement in different cases of crimes and said that they have committed many burglaries in Gurgaon, Rewari, Narnaul, Rohtak, Jahjjar, Bhiwani, Hansi, Hisar, Sirsa, Taoru (all in Haryana) and Kotputli, Kota, Baran and other parts of Rajashtan," he said.

"All have a criminal history and wanted in many cases of heinous crimes in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan," he said.
One of the accused, Gajender, was wanted by Uttar Pradesh Police in a murder case of a former chief engineer Sachidanand Bharvav in Jhansi.
