Designer Anavila Mishra of the brand Anavila says she enjoys the process of creating collections and has not thought about styling in films.
"We have actually worked on looks of one of the leading ladies, who is coming... I can't reveal that right now but I love the process of creating collections more, I haven't thought about styling for films. It's much more than fashion and design and it needs time," Anavila told IANS here.
The designer showcased her handloom garments on the day two of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/ Festive 2017.
The label, which has popular for understated designs and subtle hues, this time showcased a range full of darker shades like black.
"Known for understated designs in subtle colours, Anavila makes a bold move with the focus on black for the very first time. The unmatched intrigue of black, a colour that invokes fierce emotions of strength, power and often manifests the unknown and mysterious, intensifies the reactions to it," she said.
Anavila added: "In the design and fashion realm, black represents a unique form and probably is the only colour or the lack of it, that connects to the universe like no other. It continues to exude a sense of crisp formality."
