The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued notice to the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI on a plea by Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh asking to supply him authenticated copies of documents in the money laundering case registered against him.
In his plea, Virbhadra Singh also sought a direction to the Central Bureau of Investigation to provide him all documents seized by the probe agency when it raided his residence and office on September 26.
Justice Ashutosh Kumar sought a response from the ED and the CBI by January 4.
The ED has filed a case against Virbhadra Singh under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, and sent him a notice seeking his presence for questioning.
