The hills of Himachal Pradesh continued to experience rains Friday with Dharamsala recording the highest rainfall in the state at 131 mm, officials said. More rains are in store, the Met office said.

"Monsoon was active in the state during the last 24 hours. Precipitation occurred at most places with very heavy rainfall in Kangra district," said an official of the meteorological office.

He said similar weather conditions are likely to continue in the state till Sunday.

Sujanpur Tira town in Hamirpur district got 123 mm, while Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur district received 105 mm and Una 76 mm.

State capital Shimla got just 6.7 mm rain.

Meanwhile, two bodies were fished out from the dam water of 1,500 MW Nathpa Jhakri plant - India's largest hydropower project - in Kinnaur district.
