Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren received the best actress award at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards for playing Queen Elizabeth II in the play "The Audience".
Mirren was honoured Nov 17 at the event, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Earlier, Mirren won best actress Oscar and BAFTA for her playing Queen Elizabeth II in "The Queen".
She also portrayed British queen Elizabeth I on TV series "Elizabeth I", which earned her the Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for best actress.
At the Theatre Awards, Rory Kinnear and Adrian Lester shared the best actor award for their performances in "Othello", in which they both played Olivier.
"Chimerica" directed by Lucy Kirkwood, was declared the best play, and Kevin Spacey grabbed the editor's award for his contribution to British theatre.
Maggie Smith was honoured with the London Evening Standard Theatre Icon award for her contribution to the world of stage.
