Actress and BJP MP Hema Malini has left for Georgia to address a conference as a special guest. She will discuss Indian culture and politics.
The "Sholay" actress has been invited by the Art International Women's Association.
"I've been invited by Art International Women's Association and the Ambassador of Georgia to address a conference on my role in Indian culture and politics," Hema tweeted late Thursday night.
The 67-year-old shared that the event is "supported by Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, Georgia, Municipality of Tbilisi and Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia".
Hema said the conference will be held on Saturday at Tbilisi, Georgia.
"Leaving tonight for Georgia to be special guest at the conference to be held on May 21 at Tbilisi. Will try to post pictures from there."
