A one-day exhibition titled Ohfab is set to showcase collections of traditional and hand-woven Banarsis, Paithanis and Mashrus rare designs created by weavers of Varanasi, Paithan and Patan, here on Saturday.
Handpicked saris, odhnis, dupattas and fabrics in pure silk and cotton in real or tested zari, will also be displayed at the exhibition. Each design will have maximum of two to three pieces.
"With the passion to re-create the magic of India's diverse culture through hand-woven textiles, we want to popularise the original designs and weaving techniques that made India famous across the world for centuries through Ohfab," Anchal Sagar, co-founder Ohfab, said in a statement.
