"Secretary Clinton was discharged from the hospital this evening. Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery," Clinton's spokesperson Philippe Reines said in a statement.
"She's eager to get back to the office...," he added.
Clinton was hospitalised with a blood clot in her head Sunday. Her doctors said that the blood clot was situated in a vein between her brain and skull behind the right ear.
They, however, noted she had not suffered any "stroke or neurological damage", and they predicted that she should make a "full recovery".
