Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Friday laid foundations stones and inaugurated developmental projects worth Rs.97 crore in Baddi and Barotiwala areas in Solan district.
He inaugurated a 220-kV sub-station in Kulhariwala village in Baddi, completed at a cost of Rs.45 crore.
The electricity station will strengthen transmission and distribution to the Baddi-Barotiwala industrial corridor, a government statement said.
The chief minister also inaugurated a trade centre in Baddi, some 100 km from the state capital, completed at a cost of Rs.13 crore.
He laid the foundation stone of a helipad at Barotiwala costing Rs.1.25 crore.
The chief minister also inaugurated the lift water supply scheme of Kishanpura Hariraipur with an outlay of Rs.2.12 crore.
