Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Wednesday launched a mobile app to help skilled and semi-skilled workers find jobs.
The mobile app and website titled 'Mera Hunar HP' or 'My Talent' will directly connect prospective employers with job aspirants as the latter's resume will contain addresses and contact numbers, state Information Technology adviser Gokul Butail told IANS.
He said this will benefit those looking for jobs in areas around their residence.
The Chief Minister said this initiative will supplement the state's skill development scheme and be of great help to passouts of industrial training institutes.
Butail, the brainchild behind the developing and launching of the application, said the app will not only create self-employment but also create a huge data base of all job-seekers skilled in different trades.
