The hills of Himachal Pradesh may experience heavy rainfall next week, a weather official said here on Saturday.
"Most of the areas in the state are likely to experience heavy spells of rainfall on July 10 and 11," an official at the meteorological office here told IANS.
He said the monsoon, which was undergoing a lull in the region for over a week, would be active again.
He said the tourist towns of Shimla, Narkanda, Kufri, Kalpa, Kasauli, Chamba, Dharamsala, Palampur and Manali might get heavy rain in the next few days.
Nagrota Suriyan in Kangra district has experienced the maximum rainfall of 13mm in the state.
