Himachal Pradesh is likely to get heavy rains over the next three days, with the southwest monsoon remaining subdued for over a fortnight, the Met office here Friday.
"Certain areas are likely to experience heavy spells of rain till Monday," a meteorological department statement said.
It said there were chances of heavy to very heavy rains at some places in mid and low hills on September 23 and 24.
The Met department's forecast said the western disturbances - storm systems originating from the Mediterranean Sea and moving across the Afghanistan-Pakistan region - would remain active in the region till September 25.
Meanwhile, Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district was the coldest town in the state with a low of 7.3 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures in Shimla and Manali were 14 degrees and 10.2 degrees respectively.

Kalpa, some 250 km from Shimla, saw the night temperature at 8.6 degrees Celsius.
