The national capital experienced another hot day on Wednesday with the maximum temperature settling at 41 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, the Met Office said. Thursday is likely to see similar weather though with a partly cloudy sky.
"There would be partly cloudy sky on Thursday," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, adding that the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 41 and 28 degrees Celsius respectively.
The minimum temperature on Wednesday was recorded 26.6 degrees Celsius, average for the season, while the humidity oscillated between a high of 73 and a low of 28 per cent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 38.3 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded 23.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
