The Congress on Thursday said it was "intriguing" that Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad had a copy of the Supreme Court judgment in Judge B.H. Loya death case when even lawyers or media did not have it and the court website had crashed.
"Intriguing indeed! How does the Law Minister have a copy of the Supreme Court judgment when neither the public nor the press or advocates have got a copy yet? And the Supreme Court website is hacked. So much for transparency and fairness," Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted.
The Congress leader was referring to a press conference held by Prasad at the BJP office here where he extensively read out from the apex court judgment.
The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed petitions seeking a SIT probe into the death of Judge Loya, who was then holding trial in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh staged shootout case.
