Former coach Attila Pinter was dismissed after the team lost their first group match to Northern Ireland.
This is Hungary's second win of the group stages. The Hungarians have collected seven points from their last three matches, standing third in the group which includes Romania, Northern Ireland, Faroe Islands and Greece.
Romania sit top with 10 points, with Northern Ireland on nine, Finland four, Faroe Islands three and Greece one.
Hungary will play a friendly match with Russia here Tuesday.
