Automobile manufacturer Hyundai Motor India on Thursday announced that it has achieved cumulative domestic sales of four million vehicles in the Indian market.
"Hyundai today is a 10 product strong brand with class leading products from the Eon to Santa Fe," said Y.K. Koo, managing director, Hyundai Motor India.
"Hyundai has since inception focused on 'Make in India' products, made for the world."
Currently, Hyundai is the largest premium car manufacturer in India. It is also the largest exporter of passenger cars from India.
The company began its India operations 19 years ago with the launch of Hyundai Santro, the country's first 'tall boy' design passenger vehicle.
