Actor Sanjay Kapoor, who has co-produced Arjun Kapoor-Sonaskshi Sinha starrer "Tevar" along with his brother Boney Kapoor, says he is an hands on producer.
Asked why he decided to produce 'Tevar' inspite of not directing it, he said: "Because I am a hands on producer. Had I taken up the direction, no one would have managed the production."
Directed by Amit Sharma, "Tevar" also features Manoj Bajpayee.
Sanjay is also the uncle of Arjun and says he never thought he would become an actor.
He said: "I was worried for him when he said he is becoming an actor. I had never thought Arjun would become an actor. I had put him to assist Karan Johar (filmmaker) thinking that he would become a director but one day I heard he is becoming an actor and I said, 'Yeh pagal ho gaya hain'."
"To be an actor you have to be fit. Then, I thought, at least in this way he will lose weight. He showed tremendous willpower, lost weight and is now extremely fit," he added.
