Actress Kate Hudson doesn't mind just being an "OK mom" because she knows " I am doing the best I can" to look after Ryder, 12, and Bingham, five.
The "Almost Famous" star, who has Ryder, 12, with her ex-husband Chris Robinson and five-year-old son Bingham with her former fiance Matt Bellamy, insists she isn't worried about being the "OK mom" because she knows she's doing all she can, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I don't try to sugarcoat things. I'll say, 'I'm doing the best I can.' I like cooking, I like presenting," she told the new issue of Marie Claire magazine.
She added: "I like it to be an experience and [my kids] help me with it, but if they want something after that, I'll be like, 'Look, I'm placing a meal out for you like a king. I can't do everything. I'm going to have to be the 'OK mom'."
Meanwhile, the 37-year-old actress previously admitted she is "surprisingly strict" when it comes to her children.
"I'm surprisingly strict sometimes but pretty easygoing when it comes to TV stuff, video games... I'm really more about how they're treating people, politeness and manners. I'm a good pointer. I point -- you go there, you do this -- I have to go do that. I'm doing an okay job, my kids are happy," she said.
