Gokulam Kerala FC rallied to beat Shillong Lajong FC 3-2 here on Sunday as they jumped to the eighth spot in the I-League football championship.
Abdoulaye Koffi took only 25 minutes to put Lajong in the lead and the visitors went into the changing room with the slender lead. More thrilling action unfolded in the second half as not less than four goals were scored in the next 45 minutes.
Gokulam's Bahrainian midfielder Mahmood Al Ajmi restored the parity for the hosts in the 52nd minute.
Two minutes later, Lajong regained the lead as South Korean defender Oh Joo-ho headed Samuel's free kick home.
Gokulam made the most of Lajong's defensive lapse and pulled level through a strike from Kivi Zhimomi in the 74th minute.
Finally, Arjun Jayaraj took off on his own to whiz past the Lajong defenders and ruffle the back of the net to swing the match their way.

Following the win, Gokulam have 10 points from 11 games, while Lajong remained at the fifth spot with 17 points from 11 matches.
Lajong will now host fourth-placed Mohun Bagan on February 3 and Gokulam will travel to Manipur to play Neroca FC on February 4.
