Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan Thursday vowed to name the killers of two politicians gunned down in June this year, a media report said.

Khan said he would reveal names of two members of parliament and a police officer who he alleged were behind the murders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)'s Tahira Asif and member of the Balochistan assembly Hendry Masih, Dawn Online reported.

Speaking to his supporters at an anti-government protest in the capital Islamabad, Khan said he would carry on with the protests until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigned from his post.

MQM chief Altaf Hussain had claimed that the attack on the MQM lawmaker was a planned conspiracy, adding that police was trying to portray the incident as a mugging attempt.

Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri have been protesting in front of parliament to force resignation of Sharif over alleged rigging in the 2013 general elections.

Several rounds of talks have failed to resolve the over three-week-long crisis as protesters want nothing less than Sharif's ouster and fresh polls.

The government has ruled out prime minister's resignation.
