India's party destination Goa will ring in the New Year with the grooves and beats of hardcore with the Hardcore: Invasion 2016 festival.

The event, which will take place at Baga beach on January 8-9, will see acclaimed international names like Angerfist, Miss K8, Radical Redemption, Theo Gobensen and many Indian DJs performing across two stages.

With wacky art installations, beer showers, mud fights/fist fights, zip lining, pool parties, merchandise stalls, the two-day event will have a lot to offer.

"We want Indian audiences to experience hardcore music like never before. Hardcore: Invasion is all about the insane adrenaline rush," Moon13 Entertainment proprietor Sylvester David said in a statement.

"Between our star-studded lineups, enthusiastic fans, we plan to bring bigger and better festival to Goa this January. Earlier, we had planned to have this festival at Morjim beach but due to unavoidable circumstance we shifted our venue to Baga," he added.
