India set 386-run target for Sri Lanka

India handed Sri Lanka a challenging target of 386 runs to win after the visitors were bowled out for 274 in their second innings on the fourth day of the third and final cricket Test here on Monday.

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin (58) was the highest run-scorer for India and the last wicket to fall in the second innings at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground.

Pacers Nuwan Pradeep and Dhammika Prasad clinched four wickets each for the hosts.

Earlier, the hosts scored 201 in the first innings in reply to India's 312.
