India were left struggling at 43 for five in the first innings at lunch on the first day of the fifth and the final cricket Test against England at The Oval here Friday.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was batting on six and Stuart Binny four when lunch was called. Murali Vijay was the top scorer with 18 while Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane failed to open their account.
