An Indian-origin accountant has been jailed for five years for running a sex trafficking ring in Britain, a media reported Thursday.

Kunal Chaudhary, 32, was arrested along with four other accomplices, including ring leader Vishal Chaudhary, 35, for running a criminal ring in London in early 2013, the Manchester Evening News reported.

The Croydon Crown Court Wednesday jailed Kunal's London-based elder brother Vishal Chaudhary, who led the sex trafficking gang, for a total of 12 years.

Kunal Chaudhary was jailed for five years after being convicted of conspiracy to traffic persons into Britain for sexual exploitation, conspiracy to control prostitution and concealing criminal property.

Kunal Chaudhary denied any wrongdoing but was found guilty by the court.

"These sentences reflect the misery, degradation and humiliation suffered by the victims," the judge, in his sentencing, said.

Szilvia Abel, 24, was sentenced to three years at Croydon Crown Court, and her brother Krisztian Abel, 33, was handed down a 10-year jail term.

Another man, Attila Kovacs, 33, was given six years.

The two brothers, along with the other three gang members, received a total of 36 years in jail sentence.

Kunal Chaudhary was part of a sex trafficking gang that controlled at least 120 women with threats of violence and intimidation.

Kunal Chaudhary led a double-life trafficking European sex workers into Britain and working as a senior accountant at a leading firm, Deloitte, in Manchester.

The gang tricked women into coming to Britain, most of them from Hungary.

After their arrival in England they were forced or coerced into prostitution at brothels around London, where they were forced to have sex with up to 20 men a day, the report said.

The gang also took hold of their passports to exert further control over them.

Ring leader Vishal Chaudhary used various aliases, including Rahul Singh and Aresh Khan, in order to disguise his true identity.

Vishal Chaudhary lived in a plush apartment block in Canary Wharf in London and drove a Mercedes convertible.

Croydon Crown Court heard how flights were booked for at least 120 women, while others picked the women up from Stansted airport and delivered them to brothels in London.

"Kunal Chaudhary is a former employee of the firm. The police have made it clear that these terrible offences were not in any way connected with his employment at Deloitte. As soon as the charges were confirmed he was suspended without pay and following his conviction he was summarily dismissed without notice," the report quoted a Deloitte spokesperson as saying.
