Indian Para-Badminton team wins 11 medals

The Indian team mesmerised the audience after picking an impressive 11 medals at the recently concluded Para Badminton World Championship held here from September 8 to 13. India won four golds, three silvers and four bronzes.

The championships are hosted every two years with the last edition taking place in Dortmund in 2013.

India made history as eight of their players made it to the finals across different categories. A total of 444 athletes from 39 countries participated in the six-day event.
