Interim World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Asia-Pacific lightweight champion Daud Cino Yordan of Indonesia has said he is confident of defeating his Japanese opponent.
The orthodox 28-year-old made the statement after the weigh-in at Plaza Semanggi here on Thursday, reports Xinhua.
He was upbeat over his target to defeat his opponent as his body weight is lighter than Kato's.
"My body weight is below the limit, which means it is very good. The boxer with body weight below limit means he is in a better preparation condition," he said.
Daud weight was at 61 kg while Kato, 31, weighed in at 61.1 kg.
"Body weight is one of indicators to determine the readiness of a fighter," Daud said.
