Expanding its budget series, domestic handset maker Intex on Tuesday introduced 4G VoLTE-enabled "ELYT e6" for Rs 6,999.
The device comes with a 5-inch HD display topped with 2.5D curved glass. The display is also protected with Asahi Dragontrail glass.
"Our special 'ELYT' series launched this year has been well received in the market and going with the consumers' response we have launched 'ELYT e6' model, designed for the online platform (exclusively on Flipkart) for tech savvy youth," Nidhi Markanday, Director, Intex Technologies, said in a statement.
It sports 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage and is powered by quad-core MediaTek processor. The device has 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera with flash and a 4,000mAh battery.
The phone will be available on Flipkart, starting December 15.
Running Android 7.0 Nougat operating system (OS), the hefty battery can support a stand-by time of more than 12 days, the company claimed.
