Iran's Persepolis midfielder Payam Sadeghian has been suspended from the football club's matches for three months for having pushed a referee in the Iran Professional League.
Sadeghian pushed the referee after receiving a red card for complaining in the 0-2 loss against Foolad Thursday, reports Xinhua.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Iranian Football Federation also fined him about $1,600.
Earlier, Persepolis had fined Sadeghian 10 percent of his annual salary.
