A senior Iranian nuclear negotiator will meet representatives of three European countries over Tehran's nuclear issue at the UN headquarters in Vienna, media reported Wednesday.
The meeting between Abbas Araqchi and the representatives of France, Britain and Germany will take place within the framework of nuclear talks in the Austrian capital Thursday, Press TV reported.
Recently, Araqchi held bilateral talks with Wendy Sherman, the US representative in nuclear talks, in Geneva. After the talks, he said that Iran would no longer stand further sanctions by the United States against the interests of the country.
"In our (bilateral) talks with the US officials, we have clearly announced that we will not stand these measures (by the United States) any longer," the report quoted Araqchi as saying.
Last few months, the US had imposed new sanctions on a number of Iranian individuals and entities while pledging continued work towards a comprehensive solution to the Islamic republic's controversial nuclear programme.
The US treasury department targeted the networks for their alleged support to Iran's missile and nuclear programmes as well as terrorism and for helping Tehran evade the existing sanctions.
Iran and the P5+1 group, including the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany, agreed July 19 to extend the talks until Nov 24 as disagreements remained over Tehran's uranium enrichment capacity and other issues.
